In the 1990s, Werner expanded their dedicated fleet services and specialty shipping. Werner specializes in carrying groceries, containers, paper products, lumber and retail merchandise. The company also provides trailer service in Mexico. The Werner fleet consists of 5,500 trucks and 15,000 trailers in the US and Canada. The company was founded in 1956, and although it is now publicly traded, the Werner family still holds 40% ownership. Werner is among the largest trucking companies in the US. ![]()
